ATRip allows the extraction of individual audio segments separated by intervals of silence, from a .wav file. Individual audio segments are written to their own .wav or .raw file. Also provided are sample auditioning and naming features.

Used in conjunction with your own Audio CD Ripper or with the free "CD File System" CDFS you have a complete package to audition and extract individual samples from within CD tracks which contain multiple samples, ie., audio sampling CD's.
 

For the Recording Musician: Okay... so you have your favorite digital recording software like Cakewalk or Acid and an audio sample cd which has some good loops or samples on it which you want to use in your recording, or perhaps archive to your hard drive for future use... Or, you've seen many loop or sample CD's on the market like some we offer here at Voice Crystal, but you realize that not only will you have to rip the tracks into wav files yourself, but you will also have to rip those individual loops or samples out of those tracks. ATRip provides this final solution, making it simple and fast.

For the Sound Designer: You want to convert an entire audio CD into individual wav files, or other formats. The CD Ripping part is simple using many tools on the market which either come with your CD unit or are available on the internet, and "CD File System" CDFS is free... but, then you realize you have to seperate each set of the samples within each track. ATRip provides that fast solution.
