Battery Information

If you own an S-RAM card from one of the major keyboard manufacturers or by a third party sound company, we suggest you keep a spare replacement battery. Please keep in mind, when the battery in your RAM card starts to run out of power, your keyboard will state, "Low Battery" on the edit screen. Do not unplug the card from the keyboard!

When you plug the card into the keyboard and it states "Low Battery" on the edit screen, follow these steps:

• Keep the electric power switch in the on position.
• Remove the old battery with the card plugged into the keyboard.
• Replace the old battery with a new battery.

After you have followed the replacement steps above, you can then unplug the S-RAM card from the keyboard.

If you unplug the card from the keyboard when the edit screen shows "Low Battery" or turn the keyboard off without replacing the battery, you can lose any data that you have saved to that card.

Did you lose your sounds?

I don't know how many times a customer has called us stating, "I plugged my S-RAM card into my keyboard and the edit screen said Low Battery. I unplugged the card and when I plugged it back in, all my sounds were gone. How can I get my sounds back?".

Remember, don't lose your hard to find sounds over a $2.95 battery. Keep a spare one in a drawer, it has a 10 year shelf life!
